During medical school I pursued a degree in creative writing, knowing that my stories would not wait for a more convenient time. Since becoming a doctor I have used my writing background to establish a Literature in Medicine program to augment clinician wellbeing coaching and teaching, and I write regularly for the medical group newsletter, as well as for my own wellness and inspiration.

Most recently my passion has been facilitating Narrative Medicine sessions,

a powerful practice for strengthening human connection

and introspection.
